About Me

Jan Magnuszewski

Melbourne motivated.

I currently work in location intelligence, delivering solutions for retail and location planning using modern geospatial data science and cloud infrastructure.

I hold a Master’s with Distinction in Urban Spatial Science from the Bartlett Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA), UCL, and a First Class degree in Economics and Geography from the University of Leeds. My academic journey also took me to Seoul for data science studies at Hanyang University and Tokyo for a sustainability programme at Sophia University.

I’m passionate about applying geospatial technologies and AI to solve complex urban and environmental challenges, with a particular interest in how spatial data can inform better decision-making across different sectors.

Portfolio

My projects range from analysing urban liveability patterns to developing deep learning models for satellite imagery analysis. I’m passionate about making results accessible through interactive visualisations and web maps, having created numerous applications for university research, work assignments, and just for fun!
